PORTRAIT OF İKLİM ŞENTUNALI
Audiovisual biography of İklim Şentunalı who was the Turkish National Ice Skater. Rüya Bozkurt, Jasmin Çeliker and I created İklim Şentunalı's portrait in a non-traditional way. To achieve this, we associated her character with the blue costume symbolically seen in the video. Especially, at the end of the video, we used parallel editing to give the feeling that while the costume is being done, her character develops. Therefore, we showed the aesthetic style of ice skating and created an experimental approach by mixing poetic and expository documentary mode.
